Games to Watch in Week 2

This week there are a great number of games to watch. I thought I would give you a list of games I will be paying attention to. The Top 25 will be shaken after this week. First up on my list is #1 Ohio State at #2 Texas. If you can only watch one game this week, make sure it’s this one. After this week one of these teams will have their championship hopes crushed. I think Ohio State will come out in this one.

Next up is #3 USC at home against #21 Nebraska. These teams scored a lot of points last week against a couple cupcake opponents. This week is go time. We will get a real good idea of how talented USC really is or isn’t. My hunch tells me to prepare for a USC beat down of Nebraska.

Another great top 25 game pits #19 Penn State at #4 Notre Dame. This game is huge for both teams. Notre Dame struggled against Georgia Tech last week and needless to say; I was not impressed. Is Notre Dame for real? They can start proving it this week by knocking of Penn State. I wouldn’t call Akron a real opponent, but Penn State at least looked good in knocking them off—can’t say that for the Fighting Irish.

Finally, I will be watching UNLV at Iowa State. For those that don’t know too much about UNLV, their QB is Rocky Hinds. He’s a transfer from USC, and he had a monster game in week one. How many QBs did you watch in week one that threw for over 300 yards and rushed for over 40 and scored a couple touchdowns? Odds are, not many. The UNLV Rebels are not expected to win or even challenge too much in this one, but I think those feelings are based on the old team. This week will test the Rebels, and we will see whether the former USC quarterback is legit.
